Now In their twelfth year running,. Peacemakers Dance Team started officially Septembe11th, 2001,by three friends who loved to dance and wanted to join a dance group, their efforts quickly became frustrating due to the expenses involved, the group strong and determined to pursue their giftings and love for dancing formed their own group.

 

Why the name “Peacemakers” 

The name was given by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit and it was taken from this passage Matthew 5: 9. “Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God”

According Psalm 150: 4. Peacemakers Dance Team is created to praise and worship God… to give him pleasure and glory.

The peacemakers Dance Team have to so many places and events. We minister in dance choreography and Music.

we have been to churches like; The Redeemed Christian church of God parishes around Lagos and outside, House on the rock church, This Present House, Conqueror’s Chapel,  Chapel of the Healing Cross, The Underground church, Four Square Gospel church, Kingsway International Christian Center Nigeria, St Paul’s Anglican church, Archbishop Vinning, Winners Chapel, The Manifold Church, The Capstone Church. Just to name a few.

Events like; The Kanu Heart Foundation Party, Laugh for Christ Sake, Mission 3:16, The Mask Dance Concert, Can U dance concert, The Schizophrenia dance Concert, The solid Gold concert, The Solid foundation camp meeting, Liquid, Show 4th concert, The Awesome Concert, The Terminator Dance concert, The True worshippers concert, covenant university, University of Lagos, University of Ife, University of Ibadan, Ogun State University, Lagos state University, Redeemers University, Yabatech … just to name a few.

Peacemakers have worked with some artist and featured in some musical video, just to name a few, Kc Presh, Samsong , Edo Charles etc.

Our vision is to take dance to the next level, to make create a whole new blend of awareness that dance especially gospel dance has come to stay. To reach out to our fellow youths and bring them back close to God through our dance ministry, to lead people into the presence of God, to win souls to God.

We are working towards building our own dance school. Where people would come and learn different dance styles, ranging from the traditional to the western dances. And creating dance worship concerts, quarterly in different locations in this country.

Nothing in the world is as powerful as an idea whose time has come.
